JAXA, Japan’s prostor agency has successfully soft landed “Chytrý přistávací modul pro vyšetřování Měsíc (SLIM)“ zapnuto lunární povrch. Japonsko je tak pátou zemí měkké přistání na Měsíci schopnosti, po USA, Sovětském svazu, Číně a Indii.
Mise si klade za cíl dosáhnout malého měřítka, lehkého systému sond a přesné přistávací technologie, navíc přispět k budoucnosti lunární sondy.
Projekt Japonská agentura pro průzkum vesmíru (JAXA) has confirmed that the Smart Lander for Investigating Měsíc (SLIM) successfully landed on the Měsíc surface on January 20, 2024, at 0:20 am (JST). Communication with Kosmická loď has been established after the landing.
However, the solar cells are currently not generating power, and priority is given to data acquisition from the SLIM on the Měsíc. Detailed analysis of the acquired data will be conducted in the future, and we will continue to share any updates on the situation.
ŠTÍHLÝ is a small-scale exploration lander designed for pinpoint landings on the Měsíční surface, reduction in the size and weight of equipment used in Měsíc landings, and investigation into the Měsíční origins. It will also test technology fundamental to exploration in low-gravity environments, an important requirement for future scientific investigation of the solar system.
